This wok does not come with a teflon non stick surface but that’s up to you to decide weather or not that is a good thing or a bad thing due to the latest health concerns of non stick cookware. Not to mention how easily teflon is scratched.

When you are done cooking you can easily detach the wok from the base and put it in the dishwasher. The power cord is very long and made to a high quality with a loop at the end to hook your finger into so that you can easily unplug it.
Cons; A few customers had problems with the non stick coating deteriorating after months of continuous use – there was only a small few who had this problem so it could be that they were using wrong utensils, had the heat too high for too long or possibly had defective units, in any case make sure you hang on to your receipt.

For a good quality wok it is very reasonably priced and it has been voted best electric wok on the market!
